Hey there! Welcome to my blog. Here you will find the beautiful moments I capture with my clients, including my most recent work and adventures. And drop me a note if you think of it - I'd love to hear from you!
LeeAnn and Christopher celebrated their wedding at the Vrooman Mansion in Bloomington, Illinois. The couple chose the mansion because of the unique architecture and design, and gorgeous Christmas decorations. LeeAnn states they knew they wanted to somehow incorporate Christmas decor into their December wedding, and she fell in love with Vrooman Mansion because the distinct design and decor provides a stunning backdrop. With at least one Christmas tree and multiple Christmas decorations in each room, the mansion truly exceeded the couple’s vision of a beautiful Christmas ceremony.
the apparel and dress
The bride wore a simple white gown, accented with a long red ribbon and red, velvet high-heels. Additionally, she held a poinsettia bouquet which vibrant color detailed her shoes and ribbon. The groom wore a classic suit. His red tie added just enough detail to compliment the bride’s red accents. In additional to the bride and groom’s attire, each family member also wore a piece of red clothing, which made for a perfect professional portrait. a romantic and intimate evening
LeeAnn and Christopher’s romantic wedding included only close family, who traveled from a local town to celebrate their marriage. The bride and groom’s ceremony took place in the mansion’s foyer, in front of a two-story tall Christmas tree. After the wedding ceremony, we began portraits outside the mansion in front of the stone porch and illuminated wreath. Although there was not any snow, the unseasonably warm weather made for many gorgeous pictures on the sidewalk in front of the mansion. After the outside photographs, the bride wanted to capture the mansion’s indoor decor. We captured several photographs on and around the mansion’s staircase and landing. These photographs depicted more of the mansions decor and century-old architecture. After we finished taking pictures, the newly married couple and their family enjoyed an intimate dinner in the mansion’s dining room.
