Yay! First wedding of 2013! I was presently surprised when Jenelle of Jenelle Kappe Photography emailed mid-March and said she needed a second shooter for a wedding happening in a little over a week! Schedule wise, I wasn’t due to start second shooting until April, so I was so excited to get my creativity flowing after a long winter off.

This was also my first time shooting a wedding in the Chicago area. I’m from central Illinois and I come to Chicago a lot, but coming up to shoot a wedding was such a great experience. Very fast pace, but so worth it! The wedding that Peter and Erica designed was circus themed and it came out so beautiful. Fact: if you have a child under the age of 3 at your wedding, I will take too many pictures of him/her.

Especially if he is dressed like the groomsmen, complete with bow tie!

On to the local mall where carousel pictures are in order!

Peter and Erica chose to have their first look at Olympic theater in Cicero. Didn’t it turn out just stunning? All of the red and the stage matched their theme so well!

On to the church to get married! St. Rita of Cascia Parish in southwest Chicago.
