First weddings of the new year are always exciting, but this year, the first wedding of the year fell on the first weekend of the year – which made for a sunny and snowy wedding day. We all know January in Illinois means it is going to be cold, however, this weekend in particular broke some records – both in the area, and also the record for the coldest wedding I’ve ever shot! The high was 10, but the temperature hovered around 0 all day, with a windchill well into the negative digits! Keeping all of that in mind, you won’t believe the amount of gorgeous pictures we were able to capture outside. Elizabeth and Zack, thank you for entrusting me with you wedding photographs, and allowing me to take you outside (in the negative temperatures) for some amazing wedding pictures.
