Alexis and JJ’s elegant Bloomington, Illinois wedding started off at Evelyn Chapel on Illinois Wesleyan University’s campus. The couple chose to accent their romantic day with black and gold colors. The bride wore a stunning, strapless wedding gown with a traditional cathedral veil, while each bridesmaid wore a long, black dress in a different, unique style. As the sky threatened rain on and off, the bride and groom enjoyed the whimsical and magical moments of their day, including a first look complete with sharing their intimate wedding vows, and bridal party pictures on the campus across from the chapel where they were married.

After the ceremony, the wedding moved to the Marriott reception, and the bride and groom’s friends and family helped bring the party to Uptown Normal. Throughout the evening JJ and Alexis’ love and admiration for each other were apparent, especially after dinner and as the dancing kicked off. And dancing they did! The reception transformed and everyone, it seemed, were dancing (sometimes in sync) to all the different songs chosen by the couple.

It was a truly perfect day. Cheers to Alexis and JJ as they start their married life together!
